TECHNICAL DATA SHEET
M60A Two Station Continuous Monitor

The M60A Two Station Wrist Strap Monitor System continuously monitors one or two ESD Work Surfaces and one or two conductive wrist straps to detect loss of continuity. Conditions such as ungrounded work surfaces or broken coil cords and improper wearing by operators are detected instantly to alert the operator to take corrective action before serious and expensive losses can occur due to ESD and grounding faults.

The compact M60A independently monitors two workstations with a common control/alarm module. Individual green "status ok" and red "fault" LEDs for each workstation, operator and work surface give continuous indication of work surface and wrist strap/coil cord grounding status. An audible alarm sounds to alert the operator when a failure condition is detected. Each satellite module has an additional grounding jack for a visitor.

A person can take the coil cord along or snap it on the Standby Snap™ (SBS) when leaving the workstation. In either case, first touching the SBS initiates a three second audio delay to permit the coil cord to be withdrawn without sounding an alarm. If the coil cord is accidentally withdrawn from the monitor, the alarm sounds.
