| The
RT-01 easily measures the resistance of a wristband and cord
or heel/toe grounder (with optional footplate P/N TIFP; see
next page) as worn by the operator. The RT-01 is available
in two test ranges, USA standard (750 kilohms to 10 megohms) and
European (900 kilohms to 35 megohms) and meets EN 10015/1 standard,
for Europe (RT-01E). |
| To
check wrist straps and other personnel grounding equipment, first
ensure that there is good contact to the wearer, then connect the
coil cord to the RT-01 and press the TEST button. A green
LED will indicate correct resistance and an audible buzzer will
sound on pass. If the strap or coil fails the red LED will light.
There is also a yellow LED to warn of low battery power.
