Coil Cords

Grounding cords are fundamental to any complete ESD grounding system. Our grounding cord products include coiled and straight wires of various lengths and configurations. All are manufactured from the finest quality materials, and all are unsurpassed in dependability. They can be ordered with or without resistors and may be manufactured with your choice of snaps and/or connectors. These versatile grounding cords are the industry standard and have an exceptionally long service life. Products are available in a variety of colors and may be custom labeled. Each grounding cord is date and lot-coded for total quality control and auditing.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Length (Coil cord):
Overall: 6 ft. and 12 ft. Straight section: 8-10 inches each end

Electrical Properties:
Current - Minimum current carrying capacity 25Ma. Resistance: End-to-end resistance less than 50 ohms, excluding resistor. Standard resistor - 1 megohm, ¼ watt

Snap/Sizes:
Post snap (4mm) - 7mm or 10mm. All metal parts are non-rusting - tested to U.S. MIL STD 202 Method 101

Inner Core:
6 Strands of T3161 tinsel with polyester core with a break load of 30 lbs.

Outer Insulator:
Insulative to more than 300 megohms measured at 1KV DC

Strain Relief:
Specially designed, extending between 15-20mm at both ends and molded from PU to guarantee extended life. Tested to more than 200,000 flexes without any detrimental effect.

Marking:
Standard or custom logo, date and lot-coded.
